I’ve spent over two decades working globally with individuals across a wide range of life situations and cultural backgrounds, supporting them through periods of uncertainty, responsibility and change that require more than surface-level reflection.

Previously, most of my professional life I work with complexity… in people, in systems, and in moments where clear answers aren’t always available. Before becoming a holistic counsellor, I worked for many years in senior roles across communications, media and leadership-focused environments, alongside formal academic study in history and philosophy. That background continues to shape how I work today: with structure, perspective and a deep respect for nuance.

Over time, my focus shifted toward understanding how people navigate pressure, transition and internal conflict when they are still functioning on the outside, but carrying far more internally than is visible.

About Me

Over the years of working with people across very different lives and circumstances, I’ve noticed that many struggles share common threads, even when they look different on the surface. People often arrive feeling stuck, unsure why the same difficulties keep repeating, or doubting whether real change is possible for them. A recurring theme is the belief that they need the right advice or solution before anything can shift, without realising that lasting change starts with understanding where these patterns come from. My experience has shown me that past experiences do not have to dictate the future, and that once people begin to recognise what has shaped their responses, they are far more capable of moving forward than they initially believe.

Why my work is different

Much of the support people encounter is either highly open-ended or narrowly structured. My work sits somewhere more deliberate in between. I focus on helping people move forward, rather than remaining indefinitely in discussion or reflection. Insight matters, but it is always in service of progress, not the end point itself.

I work integratively, drawing on a wide range of professional training and experience rather than a single method. One of the ways this comes together is through my NeuroSomaTrans (NST)™ approach, which supports understanding how thoughts, emotional responses and the body interact under pressure and change. NST™ is not used in isolation, and it is not applied as a formula. It sits alongside other psychological, subconscious and resilience-based approaches, used selectively depending on what will be most helpful.

This way of working allows me to adapt to people who are carrying responsibility, navigating complex transitions, or trying to make clear decisions while under strain. The work remains structured and purposeful, but flexible enough to respond to what is actually happening, rather than forcing experience into a predefined model.

Professional background

My professional background combines formal academic training, extensive applied learning, and over two decades of direct work with clients across different cultures, contexts and life stages. I hold a master’s degree in history and philosophy, which continues to inform how I think about meaning, identity and change, alongside accredited training in holistic counselling and psychotherapy-informed practice.

Over the years, I’ve trained across a broad range of integrative methods, including subconscious and transformational work, regression-style techniques, mindset and resilience training, business coaching, breathwork, and body-based practices. This breadth allows me to work with complexity rather than symptoms alone, selecting methods carefully to every situation.

I’m committed to ongoing professional development and regular supervision, and I work within clear ethical and professional boundaries. My practice is delivered online, supporting clients globally, and is designed for people who value thoughtful, structured support during periods of pressure, transition or uncertainty.

My Professional Values

I value integrity, clarity, discernment and work that is well held. I approach counselling as a professional relationship that requires structure, boundaries and sincere care, particularly when people are navigating complexity or uncertainty. I believe support should help someone think more reasonably, relate differently to pressure, and regain a sense of internal order, rather than simply revisiting experiences without direction. My work is grounded in responsibility, consistency and an understanding that meaningful change takes time.

My Reasons Why

I do this work because the reward of seeing smiling, empowered and evolved clients after achieving significant breakthroughs is indescribably fulfilling. I observe that many people reach a point where insight alone is no longer enough, yet they are not seeking crisis support or open-ended therapy. Supporting people through these moments, helping them make sense of what has shaped them and how to respond differently going forward, is what gives this work its purpose for me.
